By purchasing a ticket for the LJMU Crime Collective London Overnight Trip on the JMSU Native platform, you (the "Ticket Holder") agree to comply fully with the following terms, conditions, and codes of conduct.
1. Refunds, Cancellations & Ticket Transfers
• Strict No-Refund Policy: All tickets are non-refundable once purchased. JMSU and the Society cannot issue refunds if you change your mind, misread dates, or can no longer attend due to personal commitments.
• Ticket Transfers: If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your spot to another current LJMU student who holds an active Crime Collective membership. You must notify the committee via email at least 7 days prior to departure with the new attendee’s full name, student number, emergency contacts, and dietary requirements.
• Force Majeure: In the highly unlikely event that the trip is cancelled entirely by JMSU or the Society due to extreme weather, coach breakdown, or operator cancellation, a full refund of the base ticket face value will be issued.
2. Mandatory Society Membership
• You must purchase and hold a valid LJMU Crime Collective Society Membership via the official JMSU portal before booking this trip.
• Tickets purchased by non-members are invalid and subject to immediate cancellation without a refund.
3. Student Code of Conduct & Safety
• JMSU Regulations: You remain under the official jurisdiction of Liverpool John Moores University and the JMSU Code of Conduct for the entire duration of the trip. Antisocial, dangerous, or illegal behaviour will result in immediate removal from the trip at your own expense and will be reported directly to academic disciplinary boards.
• Coach Alcohol Policy: In compliance with UK transport laws and coach operator policies, open containers of alcohol are strictly prohibited on the private coach.
• Punctuality & Timings: The coach and attraction entry slots operate on strict schedules. If you miss a designated departure time or muster point check-in, the group will proceed without you, and you will assume full financial and logistical responsibility for your own alternative transport or entry.
4. Data & Emergency Consent
• By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the Society sharing necessary emergency contact data, severe medical/allergy declarations, and full names with our third-party accommodation and transport providers solely for health, safety, and booking verification purposes.
